Refund and Cancellation Policy

The Mississauga Potters’ Guild strives to provide an enriching and creative learning experience for all participants. Due to the high demand for our pottery courses and the challenges associated with filling cancelled spots, we have established the following refund and cancellation policy to ensure fairness and efficiency.

Cancellation Policy

• Written Notice Required: All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to the Mississauga Potters’ Guild via email at least 10 days before the course start date.
• Cancellation Fees:
  • More than 10 days before the start date: Cancellations made at least 10 days before the start date of the course are eligible for a refund minus a $50 administration fee.
  • 10 days or less before the start date: Cancellations made within 10 days of the course start date are not eligible for a refund due to the difficulty in filling spots at short notice.

Deferment Policy

• Exceptional Circumstances: Under exceptional circumstances, participants may request a one-time deferment to a future course offering. Requests must be made in writing at least 7 days before the course start date and are subject to the discretion of the Mississauga Potters’ Guild.
• Conditions for Deferment: The request will be considered only if all outstanding fees have been paid. Deferment is possible only if space is available in the desired course.
• Administration Fee: A $50 administration fee will be charged for deferment. Deferment fees are non-refundable.

Course Cancellations by the Guild

• In the event that the Mississauga Potters’ Guild cancels a course, participants will receive a full refund of their course fee.
• Participants may also choose to transfer their registration to a future course offering, subject to availability.

Payment of Refunds

Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of receiving a written cancellation request. Refunds will be issued via the original payment method.
