Refund and Cancellation Policy for Mississauga Potters’ Guild Membership Fees

Effective for Studio, Resident Artist, Legacy and Community Members

The Mississauga Potters’ Guild is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to fostering creativity and providing a vibrant community for pottery enthusiasts. To ensure fairness and transparency, we have established the following refund and cancellation policies for our membership fees. Please review the details pertaining to your specific membership level.

Refund and Cancellation Policies

Studio Members

Annual Membership Fee: Charged in December.

• Members who cancel their membership within 14 days of the annual renewal date are eligible for a refund, minus a $50 administration fee.
• Refunds will not be issued after 14 days from the renewal date, except in cases of extenuating circumstances, approved at the discretion of the Guild’s Board.
• Cancellations must be requested in writing, via email at membership@mississaugapotters.com

Resident Artist Members

Monthly Membership Fee: Charged monthly.

• Members must provide 30 days’ written notice to cancel their membership. If cancellation is requested mid-month, the fee for that month will not be prorated or refunded.
• Refunds are not available for payments already processed, but members may terminate future billing by providing the required notice.
• Cancellations should be submitted via email at membership@mississaugapotters.com

Legacy and Community Members

Annual Membership Fee: Charged annually.

• Due to the low cost of this membership and the administrative work involved, refunds are not available once payment has been processed.
• Cancellations must be requested in writing to membership@missisaugapotters.com but no fees will be returned.
